Reviews
The Place
Was quite empty as it was a bank holiday (6th January); I can imagine it can get very busy ( it's also in a trendy party area of Rome) but with few people & most tables empty it had no real atmosphere (it's quite big).
Waiter was polite & friendly.
Starters were ok.
The issue was the Meat dishes. The meat was SHOCKINGLY BAD. Utterly uneatable. We literally had to spit it out. ( To be clear in Italian as well: La carne non era mangiabile, era veramente tremenda). Waiter enquired why we hadn't eaten our meat.
My sister (waiter recognised her as she goes there often & said first time this happened) very politely explained how AWFUL it was. Waiter was a bit apologetic but nothing was offered ( a coffee maybe ?) and/or no item taken off bill ( I find this tremendously bad client service).
I don't think I'll ever go back but I may have just been very unlucky.
The location is nice, the waiters were nice, but too expensive and the dishes are micro, the meat was very good even thogh was a micro dish, the starter was ridicoulous ( antipasti) we had one little mozzarella which weight had been not more than 200 gr to be divided in 6. The cheescake was really tiny and not properly made. We were 25 despite we had to.squize us in some tables in two for side t They carged a "coperto pane" that we not received, but instead we paid a lot some slices of white pizza, which were not enogh for 25 people, very common in Rome used as a bread. Summaizing the meet, very tiny 30 euros per dish, coffe 3 euros, it's expensive, usually in the center on Rome for large group they give It even for free, analcholic drink 10 euros, water 3,5 per bottle, pizza margherita 9 euro, wine ripasso Valpolicella 35 euros per bottle, I don't remember the wineyierd, so I don't judge. I Absolutelly not reccomend too expensive and too tiny dishes.
It took them more than an hour to make a pizza. The pasta was okay. I don't know if the pizza is good or not since I still did not get it.
Lovely palace, but average food and terrible service. We went on a Saturday night, the place was packed. The waiters forgot our order. We had to eat without wine and water that came 20 min after we finished eating. One of our friends received his meal when we all had finished ours, and had to eat alone. Terrible experience.
Really good food in an amazing garden, cool drinks and really nice staff. Would reccomend 100%!!
very simple formula: all you can it, serve yourself, fixed cost (low). Food quality is average, the place is cozy. Good for a working lunch or a quick dine!
Good portion for what you pay, highly recommended if you're staying nearby!
An absolute 5 star restaurant. When I was there, they offered buffet lunch for 10 eur. Wide selection of quality meals, loved it
